This review is from: When There Are No Words: Repairing Early Trauma and Neglect From the Attachment Period With EMDR Therapy (Paperback)

The content of the book is invaluable; her writing skills however.. are crap. She even refers to herself in the third person. Too much quotation of her workmates makes it a lot harder to read and the whole book is bullet point form which is hard to assimilate because there is no continuity.

But yeah, she knows her work really well, she just can’t communicate it properly. I especially appreciate the part about Affective Circuit Resetting; it’s been invaluable to me in my healing process.
