Photoshop: How To Cut Out an Image – Remove & Delete a Background

A simple and quick tutorial on how to cut out an image and remove the background in Photoshop. This basic Photoshop cc/cs6 tutorial will show you how to delete that background and use your image for your other projects. Deleting a background can be really easy when you use the magnetic lasso tool combined with polygonal lasso tool and masks. This is part 2 to my pen tool tutorial in a much easier way. I also discuss the selection tool and it’s available options.

Thank you for this video. It has been very instructive and covered a broader area of information on the extraction tools than many videos on YouTube. I appreciate the fact that your voice was clear and concise and that there was no annoying background music to distract from your instruction.

    Cheers from The States.
