Why I have to make the text as a vector (create outline) in order to save my work in AI format? I didn’t see you do it. I’m using AI CS6, does it work like that in this version?

Was wondering if you purchase your Adobe Illustrator outright or do you do a monthly subscription to it. I’m trying to decide which way to go?…thanks!

Wonderful tutorial! Great idea turning the graphic into a vector! Works best if you are downsizing a detailed graphic like this, you won’t even notice it’s a vector (meaning it’s organic looking which is great!) Also thanks for explaining bleed, etc. most people don’t give this information! Well done.

How do I make an image transparent? Does that mean the background of the image is removed or is removing the background a completely different thing? What software or resources can you provide to show me how to make an image transparent?
    Thank you!
