Personal information protection
Privacy policy
This policy explains how JFL Media Training handles information submitted through the website, by email, by phone and while delivering services.
Last updated: July 27, 2026.
You can accept or refuse analytics and change your choice at any time.
1. Information collected
Depending on the service used, we may receive your first and last name, organization, email, phone, participant count, software or topic, objectives, skill level, format, city, timeline, selected modules and proposed availability.
Technical logs may record the requested address, date, browser, referrer and, depending on hosting configuration, IP address. They are used for operation, security and error diagnosis.
2. Purposes
- Respond to requests and prepare a recommendation or proposal;
- organize, deliver and follow up on training;
- send the requester a copy of a form or custom plan;
- process payments and administer agreements;
- protect the site, prevent abuse and correct errors;
- measure site use when the visitor consents.
3. Service providers
HostGator hosts the website. Brevo delivers transactional form emails. Stripe processes payments and retains payment information under its own terms. Google Analytics 4 loads only after analytics consent. Google Workspace may be used for correspondence and follow-up.
These providers may process some information outside Quebec or Canada according to their infrastructure.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site uses essential storage to remember language choice and the Google Analytics preference. Training builders use JavaScript to organize modules, but selections are transmitted only when the form is submitted.
When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics receives technical information about pages viewed, device, browser and approximate location. The site may also measure non-identifying interactions, including training pages viewed, catalogue searches and filters, language changes, clicks to request information or book a conversation, modules added to a training plan, plan duration and level, and Stripe checkout steps. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization names and cities entered in forms are not sent to Google Analytics. The current consent manager does not intentionally enable advertising tools.
5. Retention
Requests are kept for the period reasonably necessary for sales follow-up, service delivery, administration and applicable obligations. Error logs are reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer useful.
6. Security and minimization
We limit fields to useful information, use HTTPS and apply protections against automated submissions. Do not send sensitive data or confidential files until an appropriate sharing method has been agreed.
7. Your requests
You may request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable obligations, by emailing info@jfl-media.com.
