In this tutorial, I’m gonna teach you how to get fabulous graphic designs right in the palm of your hand using the free PicMonkey mobile app.

From the app’s home screen, press the blue button to either start a design, or take a new picture. We’ll start a design.

Next, pick a canvas size. Our presets are perfectly sized for most social media networks. For this one, I’m going to use an Instagram Portrait. If you wanna start with a pattern, we have dozens of beautiful designs to choose from. But for this one, I’m going to start with a solid color.

Speaking of color, you can choose to get started with one of our presets, including the transparent canvas option at the far left. This is great for creating logos and your own mobile stickers. If you don’t like any of these options, you can also add a new color, using either the color wheel, RGB sliders, or a Hex code.

When you’re ready to start your design, tap Next. I’m going to start this design by adding a sticker that I have in Hub. I’ll just resize, and position it to where I want it to go. When I’m done with that, I’ll tap the check mark.

Next, I’m going to add some text. I’ll start by picking a font, and then resizing, and placing the text. Then, I’ll change the text color, like with canvasses. I can also add my own color. For this one, I’ll add a Hex code.

I’ll do the same thing with my next letter, but this time I’ll use the eyedropper tool to get the exact same color as the S. I finish off with the rest of the letters. And now I just wanna reorder a few of the layers. I can do this by selecting a letter, and using the arrows to toggle it up and down. When I’m done, I’ll just tap Save to share it directly to Instagram.

Thanks for watching!
