Autodesk brings dinosaurs to life at the Boston Children’s Museum Explore-a-saurus exhibit.

Autodesk partnered with Boston Children’s Museum to create card board, laser cut dinos including “Steggy” a 5′ stegasaurus as part of their first ever dinosaur exhibit. This is the first BCM exhibit that intentionally integrates all of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields in one exhibit and they looked to Autodesk as their trusted advisor to make it come to life in a fun and interesting way. The creations were made using Autodesk’s 3D modeling software Fusion, Tinkercad, and AutoCAD.

How did you make it so you could make parts that are dimensionlly larger than your laser cutter? I’ve been trying to use this method to make furniture for my school
